By submitting a letter, notice, card, photo, or other content ("Submission") to Letters From The HOA ("the Site"), you agree to the following:
1. You have the right to share it.
You confirm that you are the original recipient of the Submission, or that you otherwise have the legal right to share it with us. You are not violating any confidentiality agreement, contract, or law by submitting it.
2. You're granting us permission to publish it.
You grant Letters From The HOA a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to publish, reproduce, edit, redact, and display your Submission on the Site and its associated social media accounts, for as long as we choose to keep it published. This includes the right to blur, crop, or otherwise redact identifying information before publishing.
3. We'll redact identifying details, but you should too.
We will make a good-faith effort to blur or remove the name of the HOA, management company, address, and similar identifying information before anything is published. However, we can't guarantee complete anonymity, and we encourage you to remove or black out any personal information (your name, unit number, etc.) from photos before you submit them.
4. This is voluntary and unpaid.
Submissions are voluntary. At this time, we don't offer compensation for Submissions. (If that ever changes, we'll update this policy.)
5. It's on you to make sure the content is appropriate.
You agree not to submit anything that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or that discloses another private individual's personal information without their consent. We reserve the right to reject, edit, or remove any Submission for any reason, at our sole discretion.
6. Age requirement.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to submit content.
